“ I miss tempo so much. Today is my birthday and I am so sad that I can't go there today. Literally was the best food ever! ”
“ This is one of my favorite places to come for a special occasion! Recently sat upstairs for Valentine's Day dinner and had no issues getting seated right away. If you get there early enough in the day and sit upstairs you'll be able to have the entire room lit up with the sunset and it makes for a great setting. Our waiter was awesome. He made sure we taken care of and even split up the appetizers into two mini dishes so we didn't have to reach across the table. Very respectable and polite and had in depth knowledge of the menu. The food here is very rich and absolutely love the varieties of meat they offer, you just cannot go wrong! Appetizer wise we split calamari and it is one of my favorite appetizers in Buffalo. For a main dish my girlfriend got the gnocchi and that was amazing too. This time I got the Strip Steak and it was perfectly charred. THE DESSERT was absolutely amazing. We split a piece of the chocolate cake and couldn't even finish it it was so big. Will make for a great leftover. A higher end restaurant in Buffalo but for the money you pay it is some of the better food you can eat in the ci ”
“ Oh. My. God. I don't even know where to begin with this review. It was just amazing. I have not stopper talking about it with friends since eating there and it's been weeks. There is just so much flavor packed into their food. I had the prosciutto wrapped filet mignon and it was incredible. Each bite was so juicY and just so much flavor from tthe prosciutto and gorgonzola cheese. The home made gnocchis on the side were to die foR. Highly recommend. ”
“ Tempo is a true Buffalo gem. Amazing food, highly trained waitstaff that suggest, offer accommodations ask the questions instead of waiting to be asked.. We didn't have any special needs, but what a fantastic way to deliver excellence. Our work party was here and I was thrilled because I love Tempo. I had the gnocchi with fresh marinara since the lobster wasn't on the menu that evening. It was delicious... beyond delicious. I'd say the tomatoes were San Marzano from the colour, taste and natural sweetness. Love the fresh rustic bread with tapenade, fresh and creamy feta! Oh my. Run to Tempo. You will be delighted. ”
“ My wife and I came in for a nice dinner. We had a reservation but they were able to seat us early. Our server was very nice and had great food and wine recommendations. The inside is very nice and great for a good romantic dinner or a small family event. We started with a few appetizers with the steak tartare and the crispy octopus. They were both excellently flavored. I had the porterhouse steak and it was cooked to my likeness and had good flavors and taste. My wife ordered the filet and also really enjoyed it. Both options would be good choices but the porterhouse was three/four times the size of the filet. We ended with a shared dessert as were already so full from the meal. This experience is a little more on the more expensive side but would make for an excellent romantic dinner or for a nice celebration. I would for sure come back the next time I am looking for a great dinner experience. ”
“ As always the food and service were excellent. This night started with the steak tartare which was fresh and well prepared, my only complaint was a few bones in the meat, but it happens. Otherwise the pasta dish was phenomenal, and I'm not a huge fan of desert but the Tiramisu was out of this world good. Service also was top notch. ”
“ I went here for my anniversary with my wife at the recommendation of a colleague. The colleague said it was her favorite fine-dining restaurant, so the expectations were quite high. I started with the Mista salad, which looked like a very generic salad but actually was quite good. The toasted pistachios and cranberries put it over the top for me. My wife had the lobster bisque and she enjoyed it. I was surprised at the amount of lobster actually in the bowl of soup. For dinner I had one of the daily specials, a NY strip steak with fingerling potatoes, blistered shashito peppers, and shiitake mushrooms (pictured). It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a fantastic sear. The glaze on the steak and mushrooms was delicious. The potatoes were fine, but overall I was very pleased with my dinner. My wife had the filet mignon which was wrapped with prosciutto and smothered in gorgonzola cheese. She had nothing but great things to say as well. For dessert, I had the homemade pistachio gelato while my wife had the flourless chocolate torte (pictures). Needless to say we left very full and satisfied. This is definitely a place we'd like to come back to. ”
“ Very lovely place to come to, from the professional waitress/waitresses to the young lady that kept the water poured and the table crisp. I would give them 3 stars alone for that, top notch service. For the food that easily would be the rest of the two stars. Only reason for not a perfect five is for this reason only. For a Italian restaurant to not serve lasagna, I have to take a star away for that. Yea I am picky, but that's how I feel. But I tell you the food we did have was pretty good. My wife ordered the salmon, and even though it was seasoned and cook exactly how she likes it. She didn't care for the broth the salmon came on, and the gnocchi tasted like mash potatoe balls. My food was great, a nice hearty tasting, stick to your bones braised lamb shank. This dish does not fall short from amazing. The drinks and dessert was just as good. A perfect ending to a good dinner ”
“ I am in buffalo for work and my project team decided to go here for a team dinner. We were seated in a separate back room, which was great for a private group event of 20-30 people. We all shared appetizers of mussels, tartare, brussel sprout salad, calamari and more. With the apps, we enjoyed their extensive wine list. I would recommend pairing the Sauvignon Blanc with the mussels and calamari as it balances the seafood well. Following appetizers, I had the prosciutto wrapped filet mignon. It was an extremely high quality cut of meat and was perfectly cooked medium well, as requested. The fried gnocchi was a great touch too! Looking around the table, no ones food didn't look good. If you're looking for a romantic evening out or a large group event, this is a great place!! It is a little pricey though, so be warned. ”
